These are the trials and tribulations of our family. I think you will find that some things seem more like a sitcom than reality. We have the craziest things happen to us. I will attempt to relay some of them as they happen.

Taylor's News

Taylor got his driver's license this week. He is finally driving HIMSELF to school. Ahhh, it is so nice. But, it does make me feel sooo old. Oh well, had to happen sooner or later, right?

He was supposed to play in a golf tourney in Birmingham, AL this weekend. They cancelled because of the potential of a frozen course!! It has been rescheduled for next weekend, whew! It was going to be mighty chilly. Hopefully next weekend the weather will be warmer.

Here's a pic from Christmas break. He and Scotty went to Paris--Texas, of course, to duck hunt. This was his first time and he helped kill what you see here. ( And they were soooo good! Yummy!)

Where are we now?

Let's see, we sold our house in Big Oaks (the one where I grew the watermelons on my back patio!), moved into a smaller place about 3 miles away. We lived there less than a year (It is pictured above) . Larry put it on the market while I was gone to visit Mama and Daddy in Ringgold. By the way, we HAD discussed this, but I thought it was going to happen within the month--not in a weekend. We basically sold it in 4 days. Apparently, no one told the people in Tupelo that the economy was bad... We moved to Fulton, twenty minutes from Tupelo. Fulton is where Taylor has always gone to school and Larry and I both work. So, with gas prices and potentially 3 vehicles on the road, it made sense.

We are renting while we build in cute new subdivision in Fulton. I will get out and take some photos of the progress of the house when it warms up. It was 30 degrees today!! Yikes, is that cold.
